Every Irish company must file an annual return with the CRO, on a fixed schedule, whether or not it traded. We prepare and file it before the deadline ever becomes a risk.
Your Annual Return Date (ARD) is set when your company is incorporated and repeats every year. Missing it triggers an automatic late filing penalty of €100 on day 57, plus €3.00 per day thereafter, and can ultimately lead to the company being struck off the register.
Most companies must also attach financial statements to their annual return. As a general rule, a company's first annual return doesn't need them, while a second or subsequent return does. We handle the filing itself and can coordinate with your accountant, or ours, to make sure the numbers are ready in time.
